Never bothered with tracking, it's either arrived or not.
By the assymmetry of your ears. Sound waves get diffracted and scattered differently when they are coming from different directions, front or back, top or bottom, etc. And you learn to distinguish between them by using the same pair of ears.
The panel refreshes every 16.7 millisecond, so a latency of a couple millisecond (1-10ms) shouldn't be detectable. Please clarify if your latency is a couple tens or hundreds of milliseconds, aka the order of magnitude/a closer estimate.
Why not? Even your phone can be your only PC if you push it.
