Unfortunately, containers only isolate cookies and session data. It doesn't isolate history, bookmarks, saved logins, etc akin to Chrome's profiles. A major use of this is separating work and personal browsing.
Firefox technically has profiles as well (via about:profiles), but there's no profile switcher separate from an internal page.
A better frontend for about:profiles would be great as well.
I swore this was already a feature. I remember years ago (15+) I was able to play YouTube videos on it.
It would work, but you'd have to use a greeter other than sddm, since that depends on x11 whether you run it on Wayland or not.

Except ~/.fonts isn't XDG Base Directory compliant. You should put them in ${XDG_DATA_HOME:-$HOME/.local/share}/fonts instead so as to not pollute your home directory with dotfiles.
