Pro here: it's because it means it will operate comfortably within the human hearing range. Think of it the same way you would think about headroom. Also, just because you don't hear it, doesn't mean you don't feel it.

I wish I knew because the quality went into the toilet. My vista 2 right earbud won't charge. Best they will offer is 25% any one item. It's too bad since they skus they killed were indestructible. I ran tarah pros through the washer and dryer and they worked great. The vista 2 they were like "did you clean them every time you put them in the charging case" um.. no. I use them while running. Literally like their ads promote the intended use. I believe it was earth proof or something like that when v1 came out
