I mean, what's the point of the question?

Even if OP's original premise might not be 'accurate,' OP's question generated a decent discussion. if that's not the point of forums and subforums, idk what else is.

Seek therapy. Your responses are neither helpful nor witty. If anything, you're a menace to humanity, your family, your 'friends' (if you had any), and general society around you. I feel sorry for anyone who has to interact with you on a regular basis. Your mother would be ashamed of you.

I hope you become a better person.

Postgres.

Also using redis, did all the typical perf checks listed on NC site etc.

My NC instance runs on a 24GB RAM, 4 CPU Ampere A1 host(Oracle), and still struggles. YMMV.

And it struggles as a photo backup host an i5-7xxx and 16GB RAM at home.

It's not absurdly slow, it's just...irritating sometimes.

While working out this morning, I heard a new word in a song, took me 5 seconds to stop and document that

Not to be a party pooper but I guarantee you it took longer than 5s lol.

I roll GTD concepts into it with @contexts and whatnot, so I've even combined all other knowledge management systems into trilium.

Can you clarify on this? I use GTD with nextcloud calendar/tasks.

The only thing I hate about Audiobookshelf is that I cannot control my cast device's volumes with the host device.

Usually when you're casting something, changing my phone's volume would change my speaker's volume. With audiobookshelf, I cannto do that.

Irks me a lot.

otherwise, yeah, Audiobookshelf is pretty great.

"Just download an YT downloader application" is not what OP was asking for.

I too have been looking for a centralized YT-DLP frontend that I can use to either 1. Store vids on my server 2. Give me (or more importantly, my wife) a prompt to download them.
