My understanding is that for reliable email, you need to host with microsoft or google otherwise you are more likely to get sorted into junk mail. If that is incorrect, please let me know.
I don't know. I never had a problems with a smaller mail provider.
Always a good, albeit depressing read.
I bought a cheap one in 2012 and it has an Ethernet port.
I'm playing this too, and I'm not sure how close I am to finishing it. It feels like the progress gets slower the longer you play and I don't have any obvious options open anymore. I guess I have to visit some places again and see if I missed something.
Unix Haters Handbook

Didn't knew this. It has 360 pages, wow!
EDIT:
The Macintosh on which I type this has 64MB: Unix was not designed for the Mac. What kind of challenge is there when you have that much RAM?
hehe
I read this every time it’s posted. It’s so great.
I do this too. Folders in the bookmarks toolbar. If I'm not done with a topic I just drag-and-drop these tabs into a folder. If you middle click one of these folders every bookmarks opens in a new tab for quick access.
I was searching for this a few days ago and was stunned that you aren't able to just create an empty file in the gnome file manager.
In the terminal you can use touch file.txt
to create an empty file, but it should be possible to do this in the file manager.
I think Bitlocker isn't even supported on Windows 11 Home. I was shocked when I wanted to set up disk encryption on my wife's notebook.
I don't know why it should be easier. I pay this provider and I get a working email account without problems.
