Yes

If it's a memory hog app and another memory hog app and you have a tonne of background services running and you have limited memory, the oom is gonna make sure there's enough memory to run the app.

And if you have the private profile unlocked and a secondary user profile which you've allowed to run in the background...well, you just might run into some problems.

Then again, on graphene, app depending, it could be one of the security settings that is causing it to drop it's cache and reload.

Or, it could be the app itself.

Battery optimization, permissions, a privacy toggle, who knows?

The only way to truly keep 2 open is to do split screen.

I am also on grapheneOS on a 9 with 12Gb ram.

And even with that, I know a browser or two that doesn't handle switching very well.

But, because of the limited information, it's difficult to know where to focus.

PS. Did you try reading the logs for the app when they reset to see what's happening?

I have a few HP printers that probably have more value in their metal scraps than they do as functional printers.

Seriously.

Now,

  1. you are prevented from using a cartridge if it was used in another printer.
  2. If you don't eternally subscribe to the instant ink program, your instant ink cartridges are fucking locked out.
  3. They have 8600 different types of cartridges so you'll never find the right one you thought you had an extra of in the closet.
  4. DRM and telling you the cartridge is empty when it isn't.
  5. DRM and not being able to get 3rd party refill
  6. Fuck HP

I didn't buy the printers, they were my moms. The printers themselves are still fine. But, fuck this ink locking shit, they worked fine 2 weeks ago and now they're garbage.

Ink isn't expensive.

But because HP wants to be pieces of shit and charge $2000 per litre and brick shit because ...."hackers" fuck HP

Enjoy the very momentary joy of trumps death when it happens.

If it happens in this term, you'll find out exactly what Vance is.

The Queen mean girl of the Nazi techright.

You can add the block lists manually via Vivaldi's built in blocker feature

Sign up for 10 different free accounts of Proton Drive? It has 5gb free cloud storage.

Though I always prefer the simple physical backup to SD card and backup to PC.

I also have a simple sshd server and use sftp when I'm feeling frisky.

Sending from any device to any device using KDE connect is good too.

Once the tumerous masses are isolated, I would like to suggest a specific form of surgery:

Mohs surgery. This method carefully removes cancer layer by layer. As each thin layer is removed, it's studied under a microscope to look for signs of cancer. This is repeated until all the cancer is removed. Mohs surgery is used for cancers on sensitive areas of the skin, such as around the eye.

100%

A Republican town hall:

"People are gonna die" shouts a man concerned for the wellbeing of others.

"We are all going to die." The senator says with a derisive scoff.

She then responds to her disdain for living people with this:

They fucking laugh at us openly.

But, the joke is not funny.

Nor is what they deserve.

Another reason why it worka in place of the word death in that phrase.

My only real experience with symbian was waaaaay back when I did tech support for l Sony Ericsson, and while I was more into modding the phones (remember those days?) and playing worms on a 1.5" screen on the walkman line of phones, I did have the p900 and the p1i.

And let me tell you, OS aside, the P1i was indestructible.

One exceptionally intoxicated weekend, the gf and I got into a bit of a tiff.

She grabbed the phone and threw it out the door or the apartment, onto that polished rock type floor.

It impacted as one would expect.

Shattered into a hundred pieces.

But... The screen was the old capacitive touch type, so it was a layer of plastic with a layer of plastic with a layer of plastic with ultra thin wires with a layer of plastic with a layer of glass with a layer of plastic with a layer of metal backing, and the rest of the internals were modular with push in/flip down cable clips that easily separated. The entire body was plastic.

I laughed.

(I'd taken it apart before because mods)

I picked up the parts, put them together as I walked out and turned it back on.

Anyway, symbian.

Oh, the memories.

More succinct headline:

First they built a silicon cube the size of a toaster with a little switch in it that responded to electrical signals.

Now we have billions to trillions of those in our pockets.

Etc.
