My brother and I saved up money for a few months and bought the Nintendo Virtual Boy.... We were not too happy with it so we thought we just needed to buy better games. That was not a viable solution for that POS.

It wasn't the school, it was The Texas Home Educators Sports Association. I wouldn't expect anything else from home education groups.

Maine’s ban has frequently been described as a ban on “large” data centers, but the threshold is 20 megawatts, which is actually pretty low, and effectively blocks construction of what is commonly known as an AI data center.

Home distilling is significantly different than bootlegging. The biggest batch that I start with is 5 gallons. Bootleggers were working with commercial quantities.

I had to look up the bridge dollar amount because I thought that was way too low. Turns out that it's very accurate.

Yes thank you. The most rational take on here. My kids' school grades everything on a 4 point rubric. All tests have a rubric and all the teachers use that for each assignment. It clearly spells out what the teacher is looking for and every entry on the rubric is linked to a state standard. They mark where the student is for each listed standard on a scale from 0 to 4. Doing poorly on a test hurts your grade but it doesn't destroy it.

Time to take a flash drive, load it up with viruses and start traveling in and out of the United States.

New Mexico has the worse drivers, Texas is fifth. California seems to just be average.

“You know, I’ve encouraged that bill not to be heard because it is unconstitutional,”

Stopping senators for drinking on the job, unconstitutional. Fixing schools to keep a Bible in every classroom? Perfectly ok.

Suicide is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that statement.
