It really should be proper fedi-etiquette for a community owner to seek out and link to similar communities in the side bar. Not sure why they don’t do that either.

Anyone know of a “how to” guidelines for doing this in different regions? I assume you need to have a forest succession plan where fast-growers go in first and slow growers follow?

Their position on Russia is one of the more ridiculous contortions for Trump fanatics. They claim to hate communism and love freedom and yet their daddy sold out to the Kremlin so they have to find ways to act like they wanted us to be Russian apologists all along.

 

I have a fair amount of experience with data visualization, analysis etc and thought it would be a fun project to try to visualize the Lemmy network, specifically which instances have strong links to one another via subscriptions from users in one to communities in the other.

How/where can I get that data?

EDIT: It sounds like many people would find this a violation of their data privacy and I simply shouldn’t do it. I had thought this kind of data was intended to be entirely accessible by design, but I learned something new!
