How they think this is gonna go: "Haha, now that we got all those youngins off the ticktoks they have to listen to us and believe what we tell them"

How it's really gonna go: "JUNIOR GET THE FUCK IN HERE! I need to see the new Trump meme from aunt Karen, why the hell does my facebook have 'blocked in the state of Florida' all over it? What'd you do to it?"

Seriously! I just wanna see one Dem call him on this and say "yup, you're right! so here's Biden with a car battery and jumper cables, an all-in-one water boarding set from Bed Bath & Beyond, a bucket of nails, and one 56 inch magnum dildo. what happens in the white house stays in the white house, ya know what I mean *nudge nudge wink wink!"

Why would it be illegal? A cease and desist is just a fancy letter saying do what we want or else we'll go crying to a judge. If the original dev hasn't done anything wrong (I'm not familiar with the project but I'd still say that's highly likely to be the case) then there's nothing to worry about. So make all the clones you want, and watch a dumbass company Streisand itself

A Short Hike is a great little platformer you can finish in a couple hours.

Super Mario RPG is a classic and can be squeezed into 10 hours if you rush, but probably closer to 12~15.

Well duh! That's because the big black line you see on all the maps keeps the storms from crossing over

Oh yes, I know, hence my final words "even in jest".

Meanwhile a psychologist who isn’t independently wealthy can’t express controversial opinions without risking his livelihood

Oh fuck off with that. The opinion he expressed was, and I quote, (about child deaths) "it's just poor children, and the world has too many people on it anyways". A licensed medical professional should never say something like that, period, even in jest.

I was a little drunk and decided to make a sandwich. While cutting some cheese I cut part of my index finger off. Doctors were able to mostly fix it, and now I got a narly scar and only partial feeling with it.

Ender's Game and Speaker for the Dead are both classics with little world building.

Facebook never "died", but no one goes there anymore either. Reddit will be the same.

Russia used concrete to build its deeper defenses, presenting a tougher challenge for Ukraine's counteroffensive, per a top official.

Prosecutors say the former president’s message on Truth Social raises specter he might use evidence to target witnesses.

In a court filing just before 10 p.m. Friday, Senior Assistant Special Counsels Molly Gaston and Thomas Windom alerted the judge in Trump’s latest criminal case — U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan — to a combative post Trump sent earlier in the day.

“If you go after me, I’m coming after you!” Trump wrote in all caps Friday afternoon on Truth Social, which is run by a media company he co-owns.

The prosecutors said Trump’s post raised concerns that he might improperly share evidence in the case on his social media account and they urged that he be ordered to keep any evidence prosecutors turn over to his defense team from public view.
