Imho I enjoy to listen hi-res on Tidal just because I like to see when my DAC is switching the sample rate of various tracks. I don't care for MQA either... everything's sounds flawless, and I admit I can't hear any real improvement from 44 khz up to 192 khz.

If this headphone amp has a low output impedance near 0 Ohm chances are high that you can drive sensitive headphones and especially multidriver IEMs without altering the bass response. Only issue which might occur is hiss.
Because they can afford it? Apart from that quality from shell, drivers and cable is most likely better on MMK2. You don't have to put cheaper IEMs into relation as soon as you have the cash for high-tier IEMs. If not you rather not thinking too much about that.
