Heat pumps for indoor climate control work great.

I'm assuming everyone involved in journalism is getting the squeeze these days so I guess same thing applies there too

As I understand it everyone is being paid peanuts to write these days so to make a living they have to churn out a ton of stuff which means attention to detail goes by the wayside

Just crazy to me that Firefox is that low I really hope they can rebound. Chrome's strangehold on browser engines is bad for everyone.

I bought a place in 2019 that I could in no way afford at the current rates. The mortgage would be roughly $1000 more per month. Just not possible.

I'm guessing a lot of that are townhomes built on old cleared lots. The supply of affordable SFH in a lot of cities is pretty slim but these townhouses are going up all over the place and you can fit 4-6 of them on the same lot some old run down 1950s house used to occupy.

Hopefully between Firefox's recent streak of good releases and Google majorly jumping the shark lately we'll see Chrome marketshare take a dive.

Same. Literally been a user since version 1.

Was always really surprised everyone thought it was a great idea to jump ship to a browser made by the largest dataminer and internet ad company in the world. What's happening right now with Chrome and YouTube is entirely unsurprising. It was just a matter of time.

Brave seems extremely shady. Every time I read something new about that company, it just paints a worse picture of them.

Most recently, this: https://stackdiary.com/brave-selling-copyrighted-data-for-ai-training/

He's gonna bail out before this goes into discovery. This is a SLAPP suit if I ever saw one.
