My friend had received additional docs email recently and I’d really appreciate if you tell us the exact time it took from submitting additional docs to getting passport stamped
Monthly rentals are bound to increase due to the sheer demand of remote workers nowadays. I have no data about the airbnb occupancy compared to past years, but I do know someone who does nomad visa consultancy. In his opinion the demand is up by like 7x compared to precovid. So I just assume demand supply is causing most monthly stays to be a lot higher.
Its so unfortunate that the closer you get to your date the less options there are. Like say an Airbnb has the entirety of Jan fully empty except for a random 2 day booking in the middle. Just because of it, the entire place shows up as unavailable for Jan. Surely there is a more efficient way?
I buy stuff and then sell them on fb marketplace later on. It surprisingly sells fast and you get around 50-60% of the value back. If you bargain hunt while buying you can technically get 100% value back. I bought and sold a microwave recently at same price I bought for. Idk why but there are people who buy used cooked utensils.
Yeah, that could be a flawed sample I guess.
In all my years nomading, I’ve never actually met a single scandinavian person who felt happy living there. But hey! Those happiness indexes always puts them at the top. Always felt such bs. Country where half the years sun doesn’t shine? Happy? Yeah, sure.
For a third world country? Yes.
It sucks that Thai elite visa is so unaffordable now. Previously it was worth a consideration for peace of mind if you wanted to live there long term.
Can you tell me how many days it took to receive the first email? What additional docs did they ask and from submission of the docs how many days did it take. And for the documents, did you email them, mail them or physically submit to embassy?
How many days did it take to get it counting from submission to VFS?
With the way inflation is going, I am stressing right now even after 200k in 1Yr treasury account yielding me 5.7%
