The shell will break before the laptop.

I mean... that is kinda the point of a protective shell. Take the impact so it doesn't go into the laptop.

The battery life isn't great, but I'm pretty sure the issue with it discharging while off is fixed. But yeah battery life is probably my biggest complaint, but if you carry a good usb-c charger most places like I do it's not a big issue.

Linux support is really good tho. Fedora specifically is officially supported (as well as ubuntu) but people have gotten all kinds of distros working great, usually with little to know issue at all.

I asked support in reference to this one and they said it should be

Of note: I was told by support that the 2x16 version of that crucial ram would be compatible with the 16 (so I assume 13 AMD too). Granted it was very much phrased as "this should work" and not a gauruntee but still.

I will say everything I've seen on the AMD version really does seem like it's just better. Battery life is apparently a major improvement which is one of my greatest pet peeves with the 11th gen Intel framework I have (I think 13th gen has the higher capacity battery tho so you might be find)
