That works fine on the AMD 13" version, so it's probably compatible, but obviously nobody hasn't been able to test it for real and Framework hasn't published specific compatibility data for the 16" version, yet.

additionally, do yourself a favor and get two sticks of RAM instead of one. even if you only get 16gb, get 2x8 instead of 1x16.

This is DDR5, dual channel speed won’t matter. Stick with the 1x16 and you can upgrade it later, or stuck yourself with 2x8.
