Good point.

It's actually mirrorless, so I wouldn't have to worry about that. I do think it's funny that people have put "estimated shutter count" when listing some mirrorless cameras.

So I have the opportunity to buy a camera I've fancied for a while off Facebook but it is a bit of a drive to go see it.

The seller seems reputable and the photos of the camera look real enough and in a good condition.
Of course I'll be checking the overall condition of the body, the lens, viewfinder etc, but are there any sort of electronic tests I can be doing to check that it all works as expected?

I will take my laptop so that I can take some sample photos and check that there are no spots on the sensor etc

What are some tried and tested checks I should make on the camera while I'm there?
