I use ~/workspace . I think I got this from when I first started using Java years ago. Eclipse created new projects in this directory by default maybe?

Really cool find and great work with the refurbishing.

I've picked up a 14" Bush CRT with a VHS player and a 29" Ferguson that people put out next to the rubbish bins. They both need repairs, but they kind of work. It's so cool to play the old consoles in these! And there's a special thing about playing a video cassette for those of us who grew up with it ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

If you're in the UK, hive.co.uk does a similar thing too.

I'm originally from Uruguay and I remember seeing some of his books at a convention at some point and loving his art! I think I have at least two or three of his books in boxes somewhere in Uruguay. Awesome stuff!

From the author: My next book is The Internet Con: How to Seize the Means of Computation: it's a Big Tech disassembly manual that explains how to disenshittify the web and bring back the old good internet. The hardcover comes from Verso on Sept 5, but the audiobook comes from me โ€“ because Amazon refuses to sell my audio.

I've been using KDE Neon for years on my personal laptop and would definitely recommend ๐Ÿ‘
