Not me calling Toyota N.A. everyday to complain about the lack of body-on-frame SUVs and how the same ideas for CUVs are being released with different nameplates.
Who else thinks Toyota is lacking body-on-frame SUVs?
Body-on-frame: 4Runner, Landcruiser (It’s back y’all!), and Sequoia.
Unibody CUV/SUV: Corolla Cross (New to 2023), Crown Signia (New to 2025, rumored to replace the Venza), Grand Highlander (New to 2024), Highlander, RAV4, and BZ4X.
Am I missing any?!
Toyota needs to stop releasing different CUV’s every 4-5 years and come out with a classic badge like the FJ on a compact or midsize body-on-frame SUV.
I would trade my RAV4 in a heartbeat for a new FJ.
