It’s right to hate hateful things. Perhaps the lesson isn’t to hide from, but instead to fix, the things you hate. Or, maybe she’d prefer not to fix these things after all.

People seem to think he’s trying to make X successful. That’s not the point at all. He’s trying to convert what was once a useful commons into a smoking hole full of trolls and conspiracy theories. There’s just no other reasonable way to look at his actions.

There’s a woman over on Mastodon making the argument that he’s trying to destroy it so it can’t be used to organize left-leaning political action (fundraising, activism, issue messaging, etc) any longer. She makes a compelling argument.

I guess Reddit has introduced free API calls for moderator apps. They're trying to placate the mods, but screw the users. Good luck with that.
