I will always remember a quote from Brett Favre when he was bantering with opposing defensive linemen while he was miked up during a game. “It’s not holding if they’re not calling it.” Basically, the response to this accusation could be “so what.”
The arena is supposed to cost $900 million and the team is going to contribute $50 million. How helpful of them. Meanwhile the existing one just became old enough to have a beer.
It’s a little early in his lifetime for that sort of a venue isn’t it? Louisville has a museum devoted to Muhammad Ali but they didn’t open that until he was an old man.
