Why can't we (states) ignore clock changes without the federal government? The federal government doesn't seem to care about standing laws. in c/asklemmy@lemmy.world

To further clarify, these states CAN ignore the federal DST and continue on with standard time, because that is legal under federal law.

They are not permitted to choose permanent DST or other types of non-standard time bc that is against federal law.

Mods should still be able to remove. But if a user deletes their post with comments under it, the most it should do is show deleted user or however reddit does it, and remove the body of the post. But not touch the comments.
