I need to re-figure out a way to filter keywords again. Wonder if any lemmy apps let you. Can use browser plugins on desktop though. May have to pay for Feedly or something.

Everyone should ignore these crazies. They feed on drama. No drama. No food.

They do, just for some reason not effectively. Like, blocking the VoIP providers that allow scammers would dry all that up.

Weird thing is, this just drives more people to not use voice calls. They're killing their own racket. (Although long-term, likely phones will be all IP with no carrier-managed services.)

A can of CFC-charged hairspray from the 1980s.

Wonder how they figured it out. Pressurization test failure?

Not too late to install all the tracker blockers, all the metrics blockers, and also start using plug-ins and tools to pollute the data one creates online so it is full of noise. Leave the cloud as much as possible too. Minimize social media use. Minimize use of mobile phones for social media as they are data polluters. Disable and cease using health tracking features in watches and such. Delete (well, "delete") what you can now before data preservation laws change. Companies don't like the cost of saving everyone's data so they often do have retention policies.

Any of these steps help.

Longer-term, all medical databases storing patient records should have tons of fake patients inserted to create noise there too, in lieu of better, safer storage policies. This is more of a challenge. People at risk may want to request copies of their medical records now and see if the provider has a deletion policy.

GM also tends to build in Canada and Mexico for many of their product lines while claiming to be "American" - to say nothing for their terrible build quality and non-understanding of electricity.

Collectively protest the most American way possible. Stop buying anything but the essentials. Don't cut out life enjoyment, but make sure it's for as few dollars as possible. This fucks with the supply chains and their precious stocks.

Better-compressed in saved Mbytes, but comparing images, that compression somehow looks more...fake. Hard to describe how.

I bet they are!

Single-stream is great from an effort perspective, if you believe the lies, but much is just diverted to the landfill or plastic bundled up in bales for some magic future when it might be recyclable. As others mentioned though, aluminum (and glass) for the win.
