I can understand your position, but I would ask, do you care about winning games or winning championships?
If its just the former, you're opinion is fine. However, if it is the latter, you should care. Historically, but especially in recent history, only the best of the best QBs win championships. Sure, you have an occasional Dilfer, Brad Johnson, and Joe Flacco (not sure he even deserves to be on this list), but they are few are far between, and are largely carried by historically good defenses.
I’m happy for the Lions fans this year, and you guys should be excited. But holy shit, for a team that has been in the gutter for so long, you guys have zero humility. Stop acting like the Lions are dynasty level Patriots or Chiefs, and just enjoy the ride. Bears rode high in 2018, and we all saw how long that lasted.
