I just didn't wanna bring a whole bottle, I have extremely limited luggage space (just a personal item lol (a backpack))

I tossed them in a ziploc but idk that looks mad suspicious, just 10 little white pills in a ziploc

see that would bake sense but isn't nitrile non conductive? its like rubber

and like cloth? defiantly not conductive. unless its just thin enough? definetly not the case with those work gloves. also different nitrile gloves, those are normally non touchscreen, and you need special ones that are.

got curious when I realized my bandaid was somehow touchscreen compatible, despite seemingly just being a piece of cloth. nitrile gloves work (7mil thick), and I've even got relatively thick work gloves that work.

interesting. why would pro have issues when the base 8 doesn't. 🤷

they're right, they should absolutely be allowed to use and profit off of other peoples work that they spent decades learning and perfecting

(this is sarcasm in case you can't tell they're dumb as fuck for saying that shut this company down today pls)

mullvad. I've been having issues with proton on windows, but its cheaper for me since I get cloud storage, aliases, and some other stuff with it

there's so many people that own 5+ shitboxes, but there's no way they're paying over a grand a year to insure all of them. is there something where you pay less to add on a car? obviously you can't drive all 5 at once, so is there something where like only one at a time is covered for collisions, and the rest only if like a tree falls on them while parked? asking bc I'd like to be one of those people that own 5+ shitboxes. thanks :)

put it in the other shoe then

[–] strawberry@kbin.run 2 points 3 months ago

I mean I defiantly walk different in flat bottom shoes vs something with a heel like running shoes or boots, I'd guess it should be enough

[–] strawberry@kbin.run 1 points 3 months ago

put a rock in your shoe. that'll throw off your gait for sure

if RCS got open sourced it would be nice. might be misremembering but I think apple is working on that?

either way, it would be a nice upgrade from SMS, and unlike apps like signal, everyone would already have it

I've figured out how to enable and disable AOD through ADB (adb shell settings put secure doze_always_on 0). I can toggle this using a quick settings tile through Always On Display Toggle. However, I'd like to set Easer to run that command whenever my phone is charging past a certain time. I know I can run the command locally through Shinzuku and aShell You, and I know my event trigger is working, as I have it sending me notifications, but I just can't get Easer to run that command.

Reason I'm doing this is because GrapheneOS doesnt have a bedtime mode, and I'd like for AOD to turn itself off at night.

Please lmk if there are better magazines to post this is

Thanks

Even though i have Proton VPN blocking trackers and use firefox with arkenfox EFF always says my browser has a unique fingerprint. Same with Mullvad browser and Tor. When I switched Tor to "Safer" it said near unique fingerprint, and only when i switched it to safest did it say i am protected from fingerprinting

from my results id guess that it has no fingerprit thanks to no javascript, but 90% of websites are useless without js

Not sure if this is the right mag, but m/proton has very few members. lmk if i should move/delete this, thanks

I'm on proton unlimited and I turned on Dark Web Monitoring. I figure since i use bitwarden for my password manager, i need to manually sync my passwords so proton can monitor for them. what about more important stuff like adresses, DOB, SSN, etc? proton says here that they can monitor for all that stuff, but how, if they dont have it?

I was planning a trip recently, so what I did was save all the places I wanted to go to into a list, and Maps would put a little pin there, and then I could use that to see what was close to one another (I'll add a screenshot later)

I dont think osm has a feature like that

while were here, what do you all use in mobile?

Our garage flooded last night (not the first time) and so I want to install some water sensors in the garage and basement. There's dumb ones that look similar to a smoke detector, but all they do is make noise, which I'm willing to bet I won't hear since I can barely hear the smoke detector in the kitchen when I'm upstairs. thats why I want a smart system so it rings an alarm on my phone as well, though if there was something with like a repeater I could install upstairs that would work too. thanks all

~~I'm gonna be paying for Proton Unlimited soon, which gives me unlimited email aliases through Proton Pass. Currently, however, I use Bitwarden and a SimpleLogin API key to generate aliases. Does paying for Proton give me unlimited aliases through SimpleLogin since SL is owned by Proton?~~

So if I learned to fucking read it says that Proton Unlimited includes a SL Premium subscription with unlimited aliases

I'm (probably) switching to Proton Pass from Bitwarden because its easier to create email aliases (all in one instead of making an alias with SimpleLogin, then copying that to Bitwarden and making a password there) but I've heard people saying not to use Proton Pass to not "put all your eggs in one basket". Can someone explain what this means?

Thought if there is a way to generate those aliases within Bitwarden (using Proton's alias not SimpleLogin's as I'm going to be paying for Proton Unlimited anyways, I don't wanna pay for SimpleLogin too) I'd appreciate it, as I prefer Bitwarden.

Thank you all :)

EDIT: I understand now. TL:DR: If one service dies you still have the other. Either way, turns out I can just grab my API Key from SimpleLogin and use it with Bitwarden, as thats what Proton uses anyways. Also the Proton Pass extension just shit itsself and I'm not a fan of Proton's UI so I will be sticking with Bitwarden.

not sure if this is the right magazine, but I couldn't find a libre office one

one of these endnotes is a different size for some odd reason. any ideas?
