Because certain types of people would rather set their community on fire before electing a woman. Make no mistake about it, if given the option to change their vote, I doubt many would.
Misogyny and bravado. Same for a lot of the Latino and Muslim communities. If the election were rerun tomorrow they'd probably just not vote. People with these personalities will never vote for a woman.
Shouldn't be an issue for the average Alzheimer's victim.

When VC and PE call a company or industry "mature" it means they don't see increasing revenue, only something to be sucked dry and sold for parts. They also saw VMWare as a "mature company".
