Don't fuck around with Black Mesa, boys. Do you want a resonance cascade? Because this is how you get a resonance cascade.

Wasn't this months ago? Some watchdog.

I have moved my library to Jellyfin as of a few weeks ago. It's really a step backwards in terms of polish and feature parity. It's extremely annoying because Plex was such a set and forget app for me, especially because I was only using it to host content locally on my home network for streaming. I wasn't able to move any of my metadata, poster images or subtitles over so I'm starting from scratch on over three thousand media files.

I'm glad there's an alternative but what's gonna stop Jellyfin from doing this same problem once their user base has grown and is firmly entrenched?

The march towards enshittification rolls on.

Love this album. It's the music that plays when the time finally arrives:

As I walk home from work on a dreary day, suddenly the clouds split apart, and in the warm light of a new day a clockwork dirigible bears down upon me. A beautiful androgyne, resplendent in a dashing suit of the color of burnished gold, leans down from the deck with a white gloved hand and grabs my eagerly lifted palm. I am borne away from this world of pain and sorrow on wings of song to take my place in the skies.

That makes a lot more sense, thank you. The other post didn't really explain Lisa's meaning, but I get it now. I call the physical feeling I get when I'm pleasantly surprised and pleased with the music frisson - gives me the tingles all over. Jazz doesn't always do that for me, but there is certainly some awesome jazz out there.

Legit though, I don't get what Lisa was trying to say here.

"Dancing suggestively", in that context, can mean literally any sort of dance. It's so broad as to be an effective ban on all drag shows, because any movement can suggest anything. They could see a drag performer simply stand up from a seated position on a chair with no music playing, call that "suggestive dancing", then jail or fine them. Nothing changes.

We got the 6000. It's on sale right now for 250. Had it for about 5 years now. We never had any mold problems but we're in a fairly dry area. The beanbag will come with a removable cover that you can just toss in the washer to clean on a normal cycle. I take it to a laundromat so that I can use the big dryer because it's a lot of fabric. It'll fit two adults no problem.

Maintenance wise, the biggest hassle is fluffing it on occasion. Ours is massive, so it's almost a two person job to move it around so that the foam resettles and you get a cushier feeling. Smaller ones are probably easier to reset. Once you sit in it for a while it molds to your form but it is still fairly adjustable. I give mine a few sharp kicks to remold the seat if I don't feel like doing any heavy lifting that day. It's cathartic.

It is very comfortable. All that being said, it's a right pain to get up once you're settled in. It's not great for people with mobility issues. Sleeping on it can be uncomfortable. If all that sounds good to you, then ultimate sack is a good value. Just as good as love sac but far less expensive.

My partner and I have an ultimate sack beanbag. They're very comfy and also very affordable. Highly recommend.
