I don't think Mahomes is playing all that "great". Even last week, despite his stats looking good, he looked mediocre minus 2 drives.

I feel like his high odds are exclusively due to prior seasons. Like people think he can explode enough to take it home.
I feel like it's an obviously unspoken "in the context of the NFL". Like no offense, but no shit. A normal human would explode with one tackle. Comparable to NFL safeties, he was 100% injury prone and made of glass.
Um, the Panthers team that made the SB had the most TOs by a mile and they had the best average starting field position in the league. He had a ton of help.
