I’d give the slight edge to Reggie Miller but if you argue for Allen I’m not going to hold you.
If you account for both guy’s primes as both became superstars later than is typically usual then yea he is. Especially when you account for defense.
3 attempts per game is pretty low and it’s early in the season. He’s also not getting as favorable of a whistle as last year so far either. Anything below 4 or so really isn’t even stretching out the defense that much.
It’s part of the reason as for why I’m lower on the magic than most. None of their high usage guys this year have been efficient offensively and while that defense is most certainly legit you can’t have all of your best offensive players (outside of the Wagner bros) be below average TS% guys and sustain a great record.
Nobody is going to want to hear this since they’re a young team that is really fun and over performing at the moment but I think they miss the playoffs and end up tanking again after the deadline.
