They got just about every tiny detail right. The bezel slope, thickness of the rehaut, shape of the crystal’s dome, shade of the patina. It’s all perfect.

I presume you like quartz chronographs? Lol

Is it the Ti or steel version? I have the titanium SARX055, tough to compare Ti vs steel finishing but bracelet is definitely considerably better on the SARX than the standard NB1050.

But the NB1060 doesn’t come on bracelet so that’s also not really comparable

For a normal person it’s a lot of money, but for watch nuts this represents some of the best value on the market for <$1k. Even crazier that it comes from a big brand like citizen.

Cheap canvas strap from AliExpress. Quality is really great, very supple (feels like several layers of quality leather) and well finished edges. Minimal creasing so far.

You have to copy link and remove space, Reddit doesn’t allow AliX links.

I personally think it would look great on your tree trunk

Reasonable! I have my share of seikos but I think this one beats out just about anything from Seiko <$1k

The dial is definitely the main event here. Every dial is hand made and unique, produced by applying multiple layers of lacquer over silver leaf followed by oven firing (similar to enamel), then carefully hand polished to an incredible sheen. Size is quintessential modern dress watch (38x46.5mm), and sapphire is beautifully domed, almost perfectly integrated with the bezel.

For me, this is one of the very few watches from a mainstream brand that offers more bang for buck than most micros.

I would’ve recommended a number of Seikos / Citizens / Tissots that fit your criteria but never would’ve t thought to look at Invicta. Watch looks great! Love the lugs, almost reminiscent of Ming, or even potentially the classic “horn” lugs of old vacherons and such.

Any manual wind watch. Especially my Zelos Startimer with the 6498 and any seagull st19 powered watches
