Football is great because any prepared 11 guys with decent level can fight for a win against supposedly better teams.
This is basic cup knowledge, small teams will have a huge motivation against big names, so we can only put the blame on Tuchel for not putting his strongest XI OR to decide to play a full sub XI that want to fight for a starting spot in BuLi.
The pitch was horrible but this is also very common in cup games.

I think this job is Tuchel last chance to be considered as a top coach (with Klopp and co).

He is getting better with is management - more mature - but you can see his limitations when it comes to media relations.

Tactically, he seems more flexible than in his previous jobs. This is the most exciting part for me.

I read a lot against Tuchel but I’m actually pleasantly surprised with him. He became a liability in his late months for PSG so I was concerned.
But he managed to convince Sané to play this left side playmaker role which is fantastic with Kane upfront and Davies pushing the left lane.
Coman on the right is a great asset as he makes so many runs to track back.
I’m a bit disappointed with Musiala but he is still a kid, I guess he played instead of Muller because we lack intensity in midfield. Muller is 34 and coming back from an injury so I’m not that surprised he is not risked.
