Why wouldn't it? Those sails are 37m tall. I found stacked containes to be at max stacked up to 25m.

We need to put this in the focus. Advertisiers decided to pull out of twitter because they don't want to have their products associated with some nazi "the jews did 9/11" consipracies or so. Why do they want their products to be associated with "Debby, 15 years old killed herself because of self harm content on instagram"?

Also for wealthy people this practically doesnt apply. We have a flat 25% tax on income from financial investments like stocks. So while the engineer at BMW is paying 42% on all his income above 66,000 the Quandts as largest shareholder pay 25% on their roughly 1,000,000,000 dividend they receive every year.

Considering loopholes and tax evasion shemes billionaires are among the least taxed people in Germany.

Not that the wealth tax was not ruled unconstitutional by principle. It was ruled unconstitutional because it contained certain loopholes that favored owning houses over owningother assets in the calculation.

Which brings to question, why the genocides of the concentration camps are quite deliberately reduced to the holocaust in many perceptions.

The German government denied adequate compensation to LGBT concentration camps survivors to this day and only in 2017 they opened for legal rehabilitation. So until 2017 someone that was convicted for homosexuality by the Nazis and put into a concentration camp was considered a convict.

Equally political activists, Sint and Roma and disakled people (or people ascribes as being so) faced similiar issues of non recognition and non compensation.

And it is no surprise that the option for homosexuals was only opened when almost all the surviving victims have died of old age. Focusing the spotlight on the Holocaust was done to deflect from the continued discrimination and subjugation of other victim groups.

So what do you mean by white collar crime? Does it include killing people or not? Because knowingly bringing about systems that result in the death of people, having a private security contractor that you know will shoot striking workers in your third world countries plantation or ordering a hit on someone are all the same. It is decided that people will die for the companies profit and just because the people who order it dont do it directly themselves, doesn't change the gravity of it.

Also there os myriads of examples from today, where western companies directly or indirectly order people to get killed, just usually in third countries. The idea that a defense company with billions of profits at stake every year doesn't have access to hitmen is unconvincing. Why wouldn't they? Just as the mafia is branching into white business, white business of size are employing criminal means.

If you still think there is some unpenetrable divide, all you need is a private detective agency that has a history of dealing with problems "reliably" in the past.

That is a very good read on the situation. I highly respect the Filipino foreign affair official. He voices his concerns and assessement of the situation realistically and neutrally instead of throwing around sensationalized propaganda claims.

I hope their work brings fruits and all capitve sailors can return home safely soon.

He is spending his entire life in prison because the US justice system is based around deterrence and retaliation, not prevention and rehabilitation.

In most civilised countries it is impossible for underage offenders to get life. Forinstance in Germany the maximum prison sentence for a minor is ten years. Also youth prisons are focused much more on rehabilitation, social work and education, so the children have a chance at life after their sentence.

This sounds like a case for a crackdown by the federal police then. And even more of a reason to take illegal weapons from people, who are willing to murder police officers with it.

What you describe is practically half an insurrection already. And this sounds like the kind of area, from where exactly that could happen with enough methed up MAGAhats. So instead of the 2A helping people to protect themselves from a hostile and unlawful government it will help hostile and unlawful people to establish an undemocratic regime and abolish the constitutional order.

I understood "not surrendering" as Police shows up and demands to be handed over the braced gun, to be met with a closed door or at gunpoint.

If people need to be told to hand it over, but comply then, i guess it can be handled with a fine. I still stand by this being a clear indication of being unfit for gun ownership though.

because the rounds aren’t lethal enough?

Because the goal is to kill the animal quickly with limited pain. "not lethal enough" entails every lethal wound that takes minutes and hours to kill instead of seconds. But for killing humans there is a reason why armies prefer 5.56 over .308 in most standard issued weapons.
