Considering they are designating “collection points” for the phones, I think you read it correctly.

One-time purchase is probably to incentivize not losing/selling your company phone.

Would be a miracle if they even come close to that kind of success rate. While half those warhammer games do kinda suck. That other half, well, doesn’t haha.

20 good DnD games would be fantastic but I’m not even sure they know how to make one with the way they seem to be going at it (not counting BG3 as theirs, that was all Larian).

It at least provides resistance to the immediate removal of the card. I doubt most thieves are running around with readily available solvents. Could provide enough time to remotely lock or wipe as OP said

This right here. It’s likely not the resistor itself even though it’s showing the most symptoms of the overall problem.

Somewhere along that circuit branch is a short or something causing too much current to be drawn through the resistor here.
