Random question while we wait for the game. Has anyone counted how many Jalen (and Jalen homophones) are in the league right now?

Few quick observations about some of these players that stood out to me in the opening night games:
-
Jokic looked unstoppable. It’s truly a marvel how good he is.
-
Yuta was making an impact on both ends of the floor whenever he was out there. Really like this guy’s hustle.
-
Anthony Davis had such a strong start to the game then really really struggled the second half. Denver did a fantastic job containing him in the latter part of the game.
I think you’re confusing overall career vs. peak.
I think you may be getting basic facts wrong not ESPN. They’re both literally on court together in the first highlight of this reel. https://youtu.be/0-xnCzuzRXk?si=_hMtEQxQwIQ9_qxn
I don’t know if it’s fair to compare against eastern conference teams since he spent majority of his career there and spent them during his peak years.
Refs missed the foul call.
LeBron isn’t human.
Wemby will f your team up and we’ll win 29-ish games! Which, by my calculation, is more than we won last season. So take that NBA.
I’d move the wolves down to 6 seed and move warriors ahead of the mavs and maybe even the kings (feels like warriors are a bit underrated by r/nba and wolves overrated).
To be clear, he didn’t claim he’s top 5 best player in the league but rather top 5 in terms of pure basketball skill. Two different claims. That’s still bit of a hyperbole but wanted to stress that difference since it’s easy to misinterpret.
I don’t get the purpose of this post. Is the purpose to convince people not to watch NBA? If that’s the purpose, you’re not very convincing. People have their reasons for enjoying an NBA game. I like watching it because to me the game itself is beautiful. It’s poetry in motion. It’s like a freeform jazz session played by expert jazz musicians. I’m generally not a sports guy - except for NBA basketball.
LeBron is incredible.
