And the sewer is filled with literal shit, it doesn't make a complaint over a pop-up ad on a paid tier any less valid. Get ya whataboutism out of here!

Emails, opt-in are fine yeah. I don't mind the little Special offer button at the top either, it's just the pop-up when I'm just trying to check my mails that is really intrusive.

You get premium ads if you are on a plus subscription or a free account. Once you get premium though, then they start advertising the family pack to you!

Yup, technology and especially phones have come a disgustingly long way in such a short amount of time. Running AI efficiently on them is the next step, one that we probably won't struggle with too much.

They always pick fab artists for their sales honestly!

Dude the Mixer situation was so weird to me, they were clearly serious about it, bought out a bunch of big streamers for ridiculous amounts of money and then just... gave up. They needed more ways to engage the community of streamers, like Twitch Rivals does, because people are not going to use your platform if they have no-one they want to watch, but Mixer never attempted to try and get people to watch new streamers.

I did try Mixer when I still watched livestreams often, the video quality was so much better, the player was snappy and was such a breath of fresh air from Twitch. But my god did they butcher the chat/viewer experience. I don't want visual clutter and fireworks flying over my screen all the time, it was the most dogshit thing ever, so back to Twitch I went. I mean Twitch without FFZ is also disgusting now, give me that simple IRC chat back!

Electron is chromium, so it's essentially just a browser window (hence the inspect element). It's quicker to develop, but much more resource intensive than a native app could be. It's generally frowned upon as a 'lazy' approach.

And Remnant 2, a copy of the already existing Remnant 1. I mean Steam awards is usually just whatever game is most popular wins and with the nominations, looks like that isn't changing! Ah well, bit of fun aint it.
