According to the current class action lawsuit, the privacy settings for the app store do nothing. So consent doesn't matter. Building a digital fingerprint after explicitly saying they don't might be called spying.

I have a roku, and I gotta ask.... what ads? I think they run one on the side at the menu screen but I never even notice it. Because the only time i am on that screen is to get to a channelm

Then when something isn't playing it just goes to the aquarium screen saver.

What are you doing that had so many ads?

If you want to talk about how chatty the damn things are with their servers, yes that is an issue.

I find that Firefox manages tabs better. So eveb though i use side tabs on vivaldi, I prefer them on top in Firefox, and it's just a keystroke away to see the list vertically, but not stay that way.

Does the legacy version contain all the same content and support all the dlc?

Thanks for the heads up about this on steam.

Nope, not really. If you have a list of files you single click on the name, not the icon. That selects it. No dragging.

Single click is so much better. Vastly superior.

How do I live? Without carpal tunnel.

netflix money grab

I agree with you. That is what businesses do. So I dump em. Years ago, maybe 2014 I received a Hulu subscription in payment for something I was selling. I started using it, and there were ads! To this day I will not pay for, or even watch for free, Hulu. It is principle with me.

But apparently I am alone on this. I got downvoted massively for saying it looks like people WILL still pay for ads, even if they can barely afford it. That I cannot understand. I wont do it if I can afford it, and I certainly wouldnt do it I could barely afford it. So the businesses win and keep scraping for more revenue.

With hundreds of free (and legal) options with commercials, why the hell would anyone pay for video streaming if they are giving you ads anyways?

Windows had it for ages

Windows single click never worked right. I don't use the little check box or selection. I use both Windows and Linux, and windows stays in Double click even though I have been doing single on KDE since as long as I can remember.

check box

Its funny, I single click in KDE since 3.X or when ever it was introduced. But I never really used the check boxes.

No it isn't. It just doesn't happen.

Kinda disappointed actually. It's in my top ten best features if KDE. Single click is so much faster and easier. No other OS has gotten this right.

As long as they dont take it away. But since most people now won't know it's there they are unlikely to find out just how great it is.
