Thanks for the reply!

  • At the longest I waited a couple hours before powering it off. Still nothing
  • I did reseat all the cables I saw running down from the display. Since diagnostic passed I would guess they are good
  • The bright light didn't work either (although I was hopeful! cool idea)

A couple things I've noticed since are:

  • The screen doesn't seem to be off but displaying all black
  • Booting the laptop with a Fedora live USB changes the behavior of the Shutdown button. With no boot media it turns off instantly. With Fedora live it has to be held down to turn off. This makes me think the OS has booted successfully...

I received my Framework Laptop 13 (AMD) today after waiting for quite a while. I bought all framework components except for my own NVME SSD. Unfortunately, after assembling it, I am getting no display when the laptop turns on, even after waiting ~30 mins. I've tried reseating the RAM and moving it to the other slot. The flashing LEDs show all green for diagnostics, and the following POST sequence: 10011111. I believe this means no boot device.

However, I do not see a logo on the screen or BIOS so I can't choose a boot device. I suspect the display may be broken. I have already contacted support. Any advice? Pretty dissapointed after waiting so long.

We might be in the same parcel, mine also says “Clearance delay - Import” stuck in Anchorage bound for US.

FedEx’s tracking specifies: “Clearance instructions from the importer are required.” Framework is the importer, right? I’m guessing I don’t have to do anything but wait.
