I bought a first gen Sansa Clip ages ago on Black Friday sale and fell in love with the damn thing. Small but not too small, good controls, good sound, intuitive UI, uses universal drivers (not a sure thing at the time), even has an FM radio built in. I've picked up so many more advanced devices over the years but I keep coming back to it. It's just a solid piece of hardware.

Also you can install Rockbox on it and play DOOM, if you're into that sort of thing.

Personally I've had some issues with ads getting through 5 on a few devices. Version 4 always works in those cases, even though it's a bit less efficient (apparently).

Separate of that it also works with VPN Tunnel, which is great for getting around cell providers that block tethering.

This exact scenario has appeared in an entirely unsurprising number of chastity stories.

I’ve never met a teenager traumatized by porn.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I know I was taken aback by the prospect that selfhosting meant I'd be caching copies of media uploaded to other instances without any way to opt out of that. It's one thing to provide links, it's another thing to be functioning as a knockoff CDN. That's a bit more than I'm willing to do for the sake of a vanity instance.

I'll settle for one that has a vague indifference to me.

Oh we'd also "tested" not that long before by burning some other food. Worked fine then.

I left a pot of beer, onion, and butter on the stove to boil with the intention of making beer brats, then stepped away to do something and thought I'd turned off the burners. I had not. I did not realize I had not until I re-emerged 40+ minutes later and the entire room was filled with smoke. The weird part was that despite the smoke being choking thick none of the smoke detectors had gone off, and we had tested them recently. Anyway, took a good few hours to air out the house and two days of scrubbing to clean the burnt onion remains off the bottom of the pan, which had somehow managed to burn while still being submerged in beer. Damndest thing.

This completely is right-wing conspiracy nuttery disguised as activism. Check their other articles and you get gems like "Elon Musk Vows To Sue Soros-Funded Censorship Groups" and "Former Mexican Congressman Is Convicted After 'Misgendering' Transgender Politician". Just hit all the dogwhistles there guys.
