Assuming healthy? Haliburton, OG, Dillon Brooks, Giannis, Robert Williams is the best I could think of just based on defense. There's still a really high chance they lose to prime Kawhi, PG, Harden, and Russ though.

Has Fox surpassed John Wall's peak? It definitely seems like he could this year, but idk if he was better last year.

His favorite singer is Morgan Wallen and he has 19 dogs? Sounds about right.

The weird thing about the comparison is that Ohtani has 2 things he's top 10 or so in (batting and pitching). If you correlate batting and pitching to having unique offensive skills (e.g. scoring + playmaking) then Harden is a pretty close comparison. The issue is that someone being a top 10 scorer and playmaker in basketball is significantly more common than someone being a top 10 pitcher and batter.

The same goes for if you correlate pitching and batting to offense and defense. In the last 30 years alone Kawhi, Kobe, Duncan, Hakeem, DRob, KG, CP3, Pippen, Jordan, Dwight, Bron, etc. all could qualify as being top 10 in offense and defense at some point.

I just don't think the comparison works.

Funny enough, the best draft night by a team ever is also the Mavs. Walked away with Dirk and Nash in the '98 draft.

I can't say I've gone back and watched a ton of Ralph Sampson games, but I have read up on him quite a bit. I think the most interesting thing was an old article where Ralph said that he would ideally play on the perimeter, but some of the other players immediately shut him down and said they needed him in the paint lol.
