i tried lower decks more than once, and really wanted to like it, but just couldn't develop any giveashit about what happens next. does it get any better? or does it stay similar to the first few episodes?
It gets less Rick and Morty-ish as time goes on.
There's a lot of character building with the shenanigans. I'd recommend trying to push farther, but if you're not feeling it, you're not feeling it. No shame in that.
thanks i'll give it another shot. i am weird in that i'll DNF something and then give it another try later on and end up loving it. mostly books and video games, but we'll see about shows

LD S1E03 Temporal Edict
Show is fantastic and chock full of references for Star Trek fans. Also adds to a lot of plot lines and race backgrounds.
I didn't like most of season 1 but it started to get better near the end, S2 onward was great.
Would if really be Star Trek if the first season wasn't weaker than the rest?
