Why bother talking to guys like Sam? Why print what they say?
He isn't even an AI expert, his own employees have said so. He is just the adman.
It's probably just the usual of trying to appeal to people in power/higher position aka basic bootlicking.

Because very dumb people with lots of money still believe his lies.
He's running out of superlatives though, can't go much beyond declaring that the singularity is happening right now. Which I means the investors will see that huge ROI aaaany second now.
