This happened on an episode of Maury - my roommate and I were convinced the father was an idiot for claiming one of his twins wasn't his, and then the paternity test came back and we lost our minds

Even when the father is the father of both fraternal twins, one can still be darker than the other.

I've heard a story of fraternal twin sisters with a Jamaican father and an Irish mother. One was black, the other white. So yeah, it's possible.
