Be Japanese

Have dead-end job in back of office

No work to do, no upward mobility, no future opportunities

Collect a steady paycheck every two weeks. Feels-Good-Man.jpg

New PM takes office. Goes full MAGA nationalist. Picks trade wars. Starts fights with neighbors. Alienates people inside our own sphere of influence even.

Oh shit, bros. Looks like its another All-Ramen month again.

The new PM started on Oct 2025, clearly according to the graph the economy was already bad by then

Her party (the LDP) has been in power (except for like 4 years) for 6 decades straight. Turns out classic liberals (ie conservatives) don't have any answers when things start going to shit.

I just looked it up and 26 out of the nation's 28 presidents have all been LDP. They have dominated since 1955.

In other words, Japan has also seen tremendous growth under the LDP. So it seems a bit reductionist to judge the party based on the performance of the past 10 years.

Japan has had a "Lost Decade" of economic stagnation since the 1990s.

The new PM started on Oct 2025

The Liberal Democrats have been in charge since 2012.

So in your comment why did you call out just the new PM? And the LDP has dominated since 1955, so Japan did quite well under them too, for many years.

But that exact thing happened in USAmerica when they did it? Who could've predicted this result!?!?

I read the whole thing as a psyop from Russia and China. How to break up NATO? Get its members to disrespect each other

And not the Ramen Shop kind

I wonder if that balances out with the tariffs. Maybe I could start buying stuff from there again.
