Let there be no doubt, Trump is the symptom, not the problem. Vance is the President in Waiting (I predict he will be POTUS after the November elections), and he will be far worse then Trump ever could be. Trump is knee-jerk, Vance is cold and calculating.

But the good news is, based on the mud-slinging the Republican party is doing, they are really. really afraid they will lose the Senate AND the House in November, and they are trying to shore up support in America for their failed policies. They really, really need this trade deal, and Carney knows it. Unless they get a trade deal before November, the American political scene will look very, very different.

Go fuck a couch Vance, you fascist shit stain.

But also Freudian Slips aren't really a thing. It's more like he was thinking about a state and was talking about Canada and it just shoved itself in there. Like what he does to couches.

That's exactly what a Freudian slip is though; is his mind, Canada and State are close enough to mistake.

Except this wasn't a "Freudian slip", it was part of his script awkwardly presented, then passed off as a joke by a person who has no sense of humor and no comedic timing.

It has been awhile since I've taken psych, but essentially all of Freudian psychology is wrong.

IIRC in this case neither idea was related to each other. It's related to the idea of a "two track mind".

Unless of course he said it on purpose because he's a couch fucking coward, which is entirely possible.
