Walk over the top. Leave footprints so that they learn from their mistake.

A ticket would be better than potentially getting into trouble for damaging somebody's car. Call the police or whoever is responsible for things like this in Your country.

If you do that in my country, the police won't investigate the crime you're reporting, but they'll keep your info on file in case a car is damaged later.
