I've damaged plenty of vehicles, including being rear ended by a semi at a similar speed differential. If the semi didn't total my kia soul, a motor cycle doing it isn't going to total an SUV. A trip to the body shop would definitely be required, though. Modern vehicles can take a staggering amount of impact force and survive.
