I'm considering buying iPhone 15 in US and read that there's no physical sim card slot, so it's only e-sim.

Will this work in every country? Has anyone here been nomadding just with e-sims?

I want to make sure I want get caught out in a country with simply no ability to get a sim.

I don't go anywhere too wild like Yemen, Afghanistan, etc.

But I like to visit countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, Peru, Paraguay, etc.

iPhone 15 outside the US has, I believe, a hardware SIM slot. I have a 12 with eSIM (up to eight) and a hardware slot. I haven't used the hardware slot yet. I've gotten eSIMs everywhere and usually can download them before I leave the previous country.
