Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
Don't promote proprietary software
Try to keep things on topic
If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

We all read about the attempts to charge a US Citizen for destruction of evidence for using the distress pin on his GOS phone. So what is safe to do if you know you will be traveling internationally? Are people getting a burner phone and leaving their normal phone at home? What's to stop you from saying you dont have a phone if you are stopped at a border crossing?

I mean, agreed for anyone who has that option. Dont travel there. But in this case if its your starting and ending point that doesn't address the question at hand. How to do this as safely as possible.
