The Hollywood theme park built a “whisper quiet” ride to avoid angering nearby neighbors. They didn’t fully account for the enthusiasm of the riders.

Tough shit for the people that live near the park, you live next to a fucking theme park. Shouldn't have bought there, I guarantee it's been there longer than them.

Fucking NIMBYs.

I've seen this on smaller scales everywhere I've been. Some gentrifying asshole moves in across from a bar, proceeds to complain about ordinary bar noise. Police issue warnings, maybe the city council forms a committee.

If you are hypersensitive to noise, maybe don't move across from a bar. These idiots make their idiocy everyone else's problem.
