Why was Kawhi booed in his return to San Antonio while DeRozan was cheered in his return to Toronto? (alien.top)

They were traded for one another in the offseason. Essentially a near 1:1 trade the Raptors and Spurs agreed on. How come Kawhi was booed while DeRozan was cheered? I mean Kawhi brought home a title while DeRozan kept choking in the playoffs. Why does he get cheered for this but Kawhi got all the hate?

Because DeMar didn't want to leave lol? Like dude was as close to a Toronto lifer as there was.

He gave 10 years to this team and while he didn't have the best playoff performances, he was still part of the reason why we consistently placed top 3 in the East.
