A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

Not a lot of things disappoint me in life but this thing sure did. I showed her my portfolio, everything was great I agreed to do the wedding for 400$ and asked 150 as an advance to book me. Pre wedding is in one week , she ghosted me no response, called her she cut the call. Is it generally this tough getting clients

Depends on your portfolio and your price point, both of which change with your level of experience. Low-end clients will always act low-end, but the higher-paying clients are difficult, too, just for different reasons (e.g., they’re harder to find and they want more creative control of what you’re doing).

At the end of the day, if your work is good enough and you market yourself well enough, you will get there. Just remember what Winston Churchill said: “If you’re going through Hell, keep going.”
