A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

Not a lot of things disappoint me in life but this thing sure did. I showed her my portfolio, everything was great I agreed to do the wedding for 400$ and asked 150 as an advance to book me. Pre wedding is in one week , she ghosted me no response, called her she cut the call. Is it generally this tough getting clients

Look man even as a entry level photography. I think if you think your good enough not to mess up photos you should at least be charging 150 a hour at a wedding cause 400 bucks for 6 or 7 hours isn't alot along with all the editing you'll have. I think ya undercharged but. As for getting clients. It comes with time and advertising to friends family's and eventually you get the friend of friends who friend recommended you. Who you don't even know. And from there I think ya gain traction.
